Logan Reed Hendricks is an award winning documentary filmmaker and commercial director.
At the age of 18 he was editing feature length documentaries for internationally renowned filmmakers, while producing his own short films on the side. Logan continued down the non-scripted path by becoming a camera operator and engineer for popular and Emmy winning shows on NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, BBC and ESPN, but it wasn’t long before he decided to turn his attention back to his first love, documentary films.
His directorial debut, the feature-length documentary “Love at a Certain Age,” earned rave reviews while winning awards at film festivals across the country. Since then he has created documentary and commercial work for a multitude of brands, including adidas, lululemon, KIA, Virgin, Red Bull, Mountain Dew, Herman Miller, Champs Sports and Johnson & Johnson. In the past year alone a handful of his branded short documentaries were nominated for multiple Webby’s – nicknamed the online Academy Awards – including “Best Branded Entertainment”, and won over 15 American Advertising Federation Awards. His profile of a blind triathlete was one of three videos nominated for the distinguished “Best Branded Content” at the National AAF awards, and his short documentary on race car legend Mario Andretti was nominated for an Emmy for “Outstanding Commercial.” In 2019 Logan was admitted into the prestigious Television Academy as a commercial director based off the strength of his commercial work.
